Krista Awad (b. 1988, Flint, Michigan) is a Los Angeles-based painter whose work blends contemporary abstraction and surrealism to explore the intersections of memory, place, and the subconscious. Shaped by her Midwestern roots and cultural heritage, she transforms personal histories into vivid, dreamlike worlds. Awad holds a BFA in Painting from Grand Valley State University.
